Old books, no matter how torn apart, can always be restored. A few of the many possibilities:
- If the back has become detached a completely new cover can be made (optionally with the old cladding). Alternatively just the back can be replaced by a new one, which will then be attached to the rest of the old cover.
- Pages which have come loose can be fastened again with special restoration tape.
- Torn pages can be restored using restoration tape, or through other means.
- Broken or crooked corners of the cover can be made straight and firm again.
Handbookbinding Studio "De Pinguïn" (contact information) always gives free advice on what do with your book to be repaired without any obligation, as well as an estimate.
